Insurance & Rental Conditions

Basic insurance is included in the rental price, covering collision damage and third-party liability, subject to the rental agreement.

- Security deposit: $1,200 USD
- Insurance deductible: $1,200 USD
- Minimum driver age: Over 23 years old, unless specifically authorized
- Valid driving license required
- Minimum rental period: 5 days
- Additional driver: $10/day
- Smoking inside the vehicle is prohibited
- Driving outside Costa Rica is not permitted

Optional insurance coverage:

- Rooftop tent, awning, and water tank protection – $30/day
- Tire and window protection – $20/day
- Camping Equipment Full Coverage Package – $45/day, including the additional driver

The Camping Equipment Full Coverage Package covers specified equipment and accessories, not the vehicle itself. Coverage exclusions and rental conditions apply.

Pick-up & Drop-off

Vehicle collection and return take place near Juan Santamaría International Airport (San José), making it easy to start your adventure shortly after arrival.

Airport transfers to and from the rental office are provided.

- Pick-up: From 9:00 AM
- Drop-off: No later than 4:00 PM
- Alternative pick-up and drop-off locations may be available for an additional fee
